Hunting cased pocket watch by A. Lange & Söhne
–
An exceptionally large German18K gold hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1902. This watch features an 18K gold hunting case with a spring lid that has an elaborately engraved monogram. Inside the lid, there is a dedication from 1935. The case and movement have the matching numbers. The watch boasts an A. Lange & Söhne precision lever movement with a gold lever, gold escape wheel, and fine adjusting device. The well-preserved stepped enamel dial showcases Breguet-style radial hours, an outer minutes track, auxiliary seconds, a 24-hour indication in the centre, and pink gold Louis XV-style hands. The case has small signs of wear, but the movement is intact.
