Gold anker chronometer in quality 1A

A very rare anker chronometer made by Julius Assmann in Glashütte, Sachsen, Germany, circa 1902. This numbered full hunter cased watch was crafted from 14 carat gold, is punched by the maker and has a monogram on the front lid, the cuvette is signed Union Horlogère Biel – Glashütte – Genf. The white enamel dial has black Arabic hours, an outer minute track, blue Arabic five minute numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The numbered movement has an extremely rare quality 1A Assmann anker chronometer escapement, a Glashütte chronometer balance, gold lever, gold escape wheel, a diamond end stone and screwed gold chatons.
Case and movement have matching numbers, the dial, cuvette and movement are signed.
