An extraordinary French 14 carat gold shell-shaped form watch in a glazed case, case second half 20th-century, movement circa 1760. Full plate fire gilt movement, fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates, verge escapement, pierced and engraved bridge cock with polished steel coqueret and silver regulation disc with copper indicator, three-arm balance.
White enamel dial with Roman numerals for hours, Arabic numerals for the minutes, decorative gold hands.
Gold and glazed shell-shaped case with gold band, pendant and bow.
