A large French chromed split seconds chronograph keyless pocket watch, circa 1940. Split seconds chronograph 60-second stopwatch with instantaneous 30 minute register. A chromed, polished case, snap-on steel cuvette. White enamel dial with painted black Arabic numerals, outer 1/5th of a second track with 5-minute/second Arabic markers from 0-300, subsidiary 30 minute register dial and blued steel hand, red split seconds hand. A gilt brass movement, straight-line lever escapement, fast beating monometallic balance, self compensating Breguet balance spring, and an index regulator. Dial signed.
