An English gold open faced keyless minute repeating pocket watch, circa 1890. Gilt three quarter plate movement, lateral counterpoise lever escapement, diamond endstone. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and blued steel moon hands. 18 Carat polished case, minute repeating by the slide in the band. Dial and movement signed, case maker’s mark ‘EN’.
