A Swiss gold and enamel open faced manually wound pocket watch, circa 1820. Gilt brass full plate movement, fusee and chain, verge escapement, pierced and chased continental balance cock, polished steel endplate. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and aperture for the winding arbor. Polychrome enamel scene of courting couple in the countryside to the case back, bezels with blue enamel.
