A Swiss gold skeletonized open faced quarter repeating jaquemarts keywound pocket watch, circa 1820. Full plate gilt finished movement, engraved and pierced balance cock, plain three armed balance, quarter repeating on three gongs. Gilt cuvette. Skeletonized dial centred by a small enamel chapter ring with Arabic numerals, skeletonized surround surmounted by a vari coloured gilt scene depicting two standing and one sitting figures, realistically striking bells in time with the quarter repeating mechanism. Engine turned case, twisted band, eccentric small oval blank cartouche to the back, repeating through the pendant. Cuvette engraved.
