A fine and rare American 14 carat gold hunting cased keyless lever split seconds chronograph pocket watch with 15 ,imute register, circa 1886. Model 88. Nickel finished damascend 3/4 plate lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, two sunken subsidiary dials for 15 minute register and constant seconds. Engine turned case, two rectangular chronograph buttons in the coin edged band. Case, dial and movement signed, movement further signed Pat. Sept. 28.80 Eng. Pat. No. 324, Pat. Dec 1st 85.
