A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold, platinum, enamel and diamond set keyless pendant watch with matching chain, circa 1908. Ultra thin nickel finished lever movement, 18 jewels, cut bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, minute track, outer five minute red Arabic numerals and gold hands. Bassine case, back cover in translucent gray-blue over elaborate engine turning, centered with a platinum filigree rosette set with diamonds, finely diamond set pierced band, snap on bezel with gray-blue and white enamel, sapphire set winding crown. Accompanied by a matching chain of ogival shaped gold links with enamel matching the case, hinged gold cuvette engraved From Lanks August Sixth 1909. Case, dial and movement signed, movement signed and engraved Wm Kendrick & Sons Louisville KY.
