An early German gold and enamel key wind pocket watch with concealed amorous scene by Arnold, Hamburg, circa 1720. Gilt full plate movement, fusee verge, pierced and engraved balance cock, silver regulation. White enamel dial, black Roman numerals and single beetle hand. Enamel case with putti in the clouds holding a garland of pink and blue flowers, amorous scene to inside case back of a young couple. Movement signed.
