A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold Twenty Dollar coin watch, circa 1946. Movement with a lever escapement and 18 jewels. Gilt dial with black Breguet hour numerals, an outer minute track and blued hands. A circular case with a snap on back hinged within a United States of America Twenty Dollar coin, the front with the Lady of Liberty and dated 1925, the bald eagle on the reverse, revealed by pressing the thumbpiece in the milled band. Dial signed, case and movement signed and numbered. Comes with an Extract from the Archives confirming the production of this watch in 1946 and its subsequent sale on January 10th, 1950.
