Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless dress watch with original presentation box and certificate made by Patek Philippe & Co in Geneva, circa 1946. Resold to Somazzi Lugano. This watch features a plain round case on hinges without a cuvette. The back is signed and numbered. The silvered dial displays applied Arabic Breguet style hour numerals, a circular grained minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gold Breguet hands. It is signed Somazzi Lugano and Patek Philippe & Cie. The mechanical movement is wound through the crown and includes a lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance spring, and an advance and retard adjustment racket.
