A Swiss 18 carat pink gold open faced quarter repeating keyless lever pocket watch made by A. Lugrin for T. Régis in Aubin, Aveyron, France, circa 1910. The polished case back is engraved with the monogram A.R., a slide in the band at 9 o’clock for activating the repetition. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. Gilded brass movement, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, a cut bimetallic compensated balance with poising screws and blued steel hairspring with a terminal curve, polished steel index regulator, two hammers, two steel gongs and a patented silent centrifugal force governor to regulate the speed of the repetition mechanism.
