An English gilt metal and rhinestone pocket watch, circa 1630. Gilt full plate movement with pierced and engraved balance cock and engraved plate decorated with foliage, verge escapement, rounded baluster pillars, fusee and chain, ratchet and click set up, and bow shaped spring. Dial with double graduate hours in Roman and Arabic numerals, finely cut leaves, and a gargoyle and single handed. Octagonal case, double crystal panel on the dial and movement, body structure open on rhinestone.
