A Danish silver pair case verge fusee pocket watch, circa 1700.
Beautifully and decorated pair case made of Sterling silver, both with sound holes. Both cases are very well preserved and shows no significant signs of wear or age.
Enamel dial with Roman hour and Arabic minute. The dial is also very well preserved and undamaged. Two gilt hands.
Gilt full plate movement with verge escapement, fusee and chain. Fine pierced and engraved outer case as well as the inner case. Egyptian pillars.
Balance cock engraved and pierced. Silver spring adjustment plate
Movement with self striking every half an hour. Two barrels, one for the percussion, the other for the movement.
