An English 18 carat gold open faced lever with power reserve and reverse keyless fusee winding, Hallmarked London 1885. Spotted 3/4 plate keyless movement with reverse fusee and chain, Harrison’s maintaining power, plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring, crewed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones, English table roller lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and blue steel hands. Plain case, engraved dedication on the gold cuvette, apertures for wind and set. Maker’s mark HG over NS in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
