Platinum open faced lever watch by A. Lange & Söhne

An extremely rare, flat Glashütte pocket watch, a so-called open cavalier watch in a platinum case, circa 1936. It was sold in 1936 for 1350 Reichsmarks.
3/4 plate movement, decorated with Geneva stripes, screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, index spring fine adjustment, platinum anchor wheel. Silver dial with applied Arabic radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and Breguet-style hands. Platinum smooth case with pushback.
