A technically fascinating, rare German gentleman’s high quality automatic pocket watch featuring a regulator dial and oscillating weight winding, circa 1810. The frosted gilt fullplate movement features a cylinder escapement and is wound by an oscillating weight. The white, eccentric enamel dial, signed Etienne Richard Berlin, features Arabic numerals for hours and minutes at 6 o’clock, a power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock, blued steel hands, and a central second hand. The case is polished smooth silver.
