A very fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1900. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives. The solid case with a hinged bezel, back and cuvette, and monogrammed reverse. White enamel dial with blue Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost gold Arabic five minute Arabic numerals and gold Louis XV hands. Frosted gilt movement with 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, a straight line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
