A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel pocket watch with jump hours, circa 1830. The case, pendant and bow are entirely decorated with gold foliage and white champleve enamel flowers on a black champleve enamel ground. Glazed aperture for the jump hours, minutes dial in the front cover and a hinged gold cuvette. Silver, engine turned dial, aperture for minute divisions on a brushed chapter ring with Arabic numerals, aperture for the hours below. Matte gilt movement, jewelled cylinder escapement with plain three arm gold balance, flat balance spring, and an index regulator. Cuvette signed and numbered.
