Gold watch with monogram by Patek Philippe & Co.
–
A rare and small Swiss Patek Philippe pocket watch with a minute repeater, made in Geneva with the extract from the archives, circa 1893. This small watch has an 18K pink gold à-goutte case with the Patek Philippe case punch, case numbered1, movement numbered, and a dome with a gift dedication. It has a fine calibre with Geneva stripes, a minute repeater, wolf’s toothing, and a double signature of Patek Philippe and Shreve & Co. San Francisco. The watch has an original enamel dial (with a fine hairline) with Breguet numerals, an outer minutes track, a subsidiary dial for the seconds, and original pink gold hands. The watch is in good condition and good sound, and it is in working order. The extract from the archives confirms its complete originality. It has a historical significance as it was gifted to Joseph B. Crocket, president of the San Francisco Gas Light Corporation, in 1897.
