An early Austrian gilt silver pair cased half quarter repeating repoussé pocket watch made by Joseph Derchinger in Vienna, circa 1725. The fire gilded full plate verge movement with extravagant pillars, and pierced and engraved cock repeats the hours and half quarter hours on a bell. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals and decorative gilt hands. The outer case with a repoussé depiction on the reverse, and pierced front bezel and edge on the back, the inner case also pierced and engraved, and with a bell. Signed movement.
