Swiss 18 carat gold quarter repeating automaton Circa 1810

A Swiss gold quarter repeating automaton pocket watch, circa 1810. Gilt full plate movement, bridge pierced and engraved with scrolls. Gilt metal cuvette. Arabic numerals on a white enamel chapter ring, centered by putti striking bells above whilst seated on a articulated brick wall, two vari color gold automated figures below depicting a knife grinder and a helper turning the wheel applied against a blued steel arch opening. Engine turned back with a blank cartouche above 6 o’clock.
