A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating watch with date, circa 1820. Gilt cylinder movement, hammer repeating by pull and twist piston in the pendant. Engraved, signed gilt cuvette. Silvered dial, guilloché centre, guilloché subsidiary dials for constant seconds and date. Engine turned case and band. Case maker’s initials ‘HO’.
