A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced pocket watch, circa 1910. Retailed by Spaulding & Co. 17”’ Manual winding movement, 18 jewels, bimetallic balance. Silvered dial, painted dauphine numerals, blued steel hands and subsidiary seconds. Hinged cuvette and case back, case back with monogram ‘JFR’ in black. Dial signed by maker, case and movement signed by maker and retailer. With an Extract from the Archives confirming date of sale in 1921.
