Silver quarter repeating oignon

A French verge oignon quarter repeater in a silver consular case, circa 1715. Full plate fire gilt fusee movement, chased and engraved silver bridge cock, silver slender Egyptian pillars (this is very unususual), three arm steel balance with spiral blue steel hairspring. Small silver regulator index. Push pendant for quarter repeating on a bell in the case. Gilt and enamel dial with cartouches, black Roman numerals and small cartouches with Arabic numerals, inside ring marked for the hours and quarters, the outside ring marked for minutes, steel hands. Silver consular case, the back beautiful decoratively pierced, chased and engraved.
