A Swiss silver hunting cased quarter repeating lever pocket watch with concealed erotic automaton, circa 1900. Gilt three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel, plain cock with polished steel regulator and uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring, club foot lever escapement, push-button quarter repeating on two gongs. The cuvette cut away to reveal the later erotic scene fitted directly to the movement, the parcel-gilt and painted figures engaged in an amorous encounter spring to life when the repeat mechanism is activated. White dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Case on both sides decoratively chased and engraved.
