A small English two pin fusee lever in a silver open faced case, hallmarked London circa 1842. Full plate gilt key wind fusee brass calibre movement. Harrison’s maintaining power. Plain cock with diamond end stone, polished steel regulator with silver sector index on the plate. Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, the impulse jewel replaced by two pins. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and blue steel hands. A small engine turned silver open faced case with ribbed middle. Maker’s mark ‘SS’ and number corresponding to that on the movement.
