Very small French gold and painted enamel open faced lady’s pendant watch, circa 1845. A matte gilt movement, four jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, flat balance spring, and an index regulator.
A polished bezel, coin-edge band, the case back with a painted on enamel panel depicting a lady reclining and holding a bunch of grapes, the sky on the background, turquoise, white and green enamel foliate and flower border. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and gold Breguet hands.
