Gold verge repeater with original gold chatelaine

A museum quality 18 Carat gold French verge watch repeater with very fine enamel painting and corresponding original gold chatelaine with original key and signet, formerly owned by a countess, circa 1780. Full plate movement, chain/fusee, three armed balance. French punches, back with an oval enamel portrait in an elaborate stone set frame, opening button set with a turquoise, signed and numbered verge movement, quarter hour repeater a toc.
White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, and decorative gold hands.
The corresponding chatelaine is also made of gold, multi coloured worked, decorated similarly with an oval enamel medallion in a frameset with stones, also floral reliefs, also set with small stones, in completely original condition, with the winding key and the unique signet with a representation of the coat of arms of the county unique, museum quality. It can be assumed that the lady on the two enamel medallions shows the former owner (countess).
