Excellently preserved gold anker chronometer

An excellently preserved gold full hunter cased ‘Chronometer’ watch, made by Zenith in le Locle, Switzerland, circa 1920. This watch has an engine turned case crafted from 14 carat gold, its spring lid has a dedication and the cuvette is marked Chronometre Zenith, Grand Prix Paris 1900. The gilt dial has an outer scale with black Arabic 13-24 Breguet hour numerals, gold Arabic 1-12 Breguet hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and Breguet hands. The numbered movement features a very fine anker chronometer escapement and a fine adjusting device.
The dial and movement are signed.
