A high quality Glashütte anker chronometer pocket watch, made by Union Horlogère in Biel – Genève, Switzerland, circa 1910. The numbered full hunter case of this watch was crafted from 14 carat gold, has thee gold lids and both front and back lids are engine turned with empty cartouches in the center. The white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and later added gold hands. The movement has an Alpina chronometer escapement, a fine adjusting device and a chronometer balance.
The dial and movement are signed.
