Gold watch with engraved escutcheon

A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Paul Jeannot in Geneva, circa 1920. The engine turned case back with, in the center, an escutcheon engraved in fine cut monogrammed AE and a polished band. A cuvette engraved with the technical details of the movement. White enamel dial with radial Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track with Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. A nickel plated movement, going barrel, gold screwed chatons, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, and a polished steel index regulator. Signature on the dial, case and movement.
