Gold hunting cased keyless lever watch
–
A fine Swiss 14 carat yellow gold full hunter pocket watch made by IWC Schaffhausen, early 20th century. This watch has a mechanical crown winding manual movement featuring a lever escapement with ruby pallets, screwed centre stones, and a swan neck regulation system. The gold coloured dial shows black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and blued steel hands. The dial bears the International Watch Co. Schaffhausen signature below the 12 o’clock marker. The timepiece is housed in a substantial three body, 14 carat solid yellow gold full hunter case, featuring a finely chased decorative pattern along the case edge and bezel, a fluted winding crown, an inner cover bearing the seller’s signature Le Hainz Prague, and a matching decorated suspension bow.
