A Swiss 14 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch made by the International Watch Co in Schaffhausen, circa 1920. It has a high grade mechanical crown winding movement with a lever escapement, signed and numbered on the movement. The gold coloured dial features applied gold Arabic numerals for the hours, a fine outer minute track with small dots, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gold Breguet style hands, signed International Watch Co Schaffhausen. The timepiece is housed in a smooth round three body, 14 carat solid yellow gold open faced case with a plain polished reverse back cover, a delicately fluted caseband, a fluted winding crown, an ornate suspension bow, and a solid 14 carat gold inner protective cuvette.
