An unusual gold and enamel pendant watch “BELLE EPOQUE”’, with a matching chain crafted from white gold or platinum, made for Tiffany by Longines in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, circa 1900. The numbered open faced case of this watch is crafted from 18 carat gold, platinum and enamel and the back is decorated with platinum and set with diamonds and the crown also has a diamond. The gilt engine turned dial has black minute dots, black Arabic hour numerals and Breguet steel hands. The numbered movement features a precision lever escapement, 17 jewels and three adjustments.
