A magnificent gold and enamel watch with original box and gold key, made by J. Manigier in Genève, Switzerland and Wilhelm Lennartz-Michels in Aachen, Germany, circa 1820. The open faced case of this watch is crafted from 18 Carat gold and is numbered and very complex and splendidly enamelled. The unusual guilloché dial without numerals has an original hour hand and a supplemented minute hand. The movement has a flat cylinder escapement.
