A fine Swiss 18 carat pink gold minute repeating hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by LeCoultre & Co in Switzerland, circa 1900. An engine turned case with a blue enamel dial plate applied with gold automaton Jacks. Father of Time on the left side, cherubs on the right, striking hours, quarters and minutes on bells, a cornucopia below the dial. Glazed gold rimmed cover to view the movement. In the center a small dial with blue Roman numerals and decorative gold hands. A rhodium plated movement, 30 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Signed LeCoultre & Co under one hammer.

This is a very fine example of a minute repeating watch, and in extremely good condition. It has a heavy gold case, a beautiful enamel dial and high-grade movement by LeCoultre.
