Gold minute repeating carillon watch

A patented pocket watch with minute repeater and carillon made by Louis Brandt in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, circa 1893. This numbered hunting cased watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and has an especially fine champlevé dial featuring Roman hour numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. The numbered glazed movement is fitted with a top caliber according to Louis Brandt’s Swiss patent Striking watch or Carillon repeater, has a lever escapement and screwed gold chatons, repeats the minutes with three hammers on a carillon.
