Gold open faced lever lady’s watch

A very fine Swiss, 18K yellow gold, keyless dress watch, circa 1919. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Made for Wright, Kay & Co., Detroit. Polished bezels, the band decorated with a continuous leaf pattern, hinged back with striped engine-turning and central engraved monogram. Matte champagne dial with applied yellow gold Art Deco cubist numerals, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold trefoil hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, wolf’s tooth winding, 18 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold temperature and meantime screws, eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
