Kama was a sub brand or trade name used by manufacturers in the La Chaux-de-Fonds region, including the well known Cyma, Tavannes and Sandoz groups. These watches, mainly produced between 1900 and 1950, are recognized for their high quality movements and often come in silver or gold full hunter cases. Antique pieces frequently display the inscription “Kama Chaux-de-Fonds” on the dial or case back, indicating their origin in this UNESCO World Heritage city.

There is also a Russian watch brand named Kama, made by the Vostok factory in the Soviet Union around 1950, but this brand is unrelated to the Swiss La Chaux-de-Fonds manufacturer.
