A very fine Swiss, 18K gold and champlevé enamel pocket watch, circa 1830. The bezel is engraved with a floral motif, the back cover with polychrome champlevé enamel flowers and foliage and feathers on a black enamel ground, outer border to match the bezel. Hinged gold cuvette. Silver dial, engine-turned with radial Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions. Blued steel fleur de Lys hands. A matte gilt, Lepine calibre, jewelled cylinder escapement, plain three-arm gilt balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed.
