Gold open faced cylinder watch

A French 18 carat gold and enamel open faced keyless pendant watch made by Chaudé in Paris, circa 1890. The case with a box hinged bezel, beaded edge on the reverse, to a raised deep blue enamel center with a fine scene in white and a hinged gold cuvette. Two tone white enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer gilt dot minute track, outermost red Arabic five minute numerals, a stepped matt finished inner and gold Louis XV hands. Gilt bar caliber movement with wolf tooth winding wheels, a cylinder escapement, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator. Cuvette signed.
