Gold hunting cased repeating watch

A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased pocket watch with gong strike (à sonnerie), made by Roskopf, circa 1910. This watch features a hand wound mechanical movement with a gong chime mechanism. The white enamel dial displays Arabic numerals for the hours, a painted outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and spade hands. The round 18 carat yellow gold case features a smooth polished bezel and a smooth caseback. The watch is fitted with a gold dust cover engraved with the name ROSKOPF. The case has a classic hunter case (Savonette) configuration with a push button crown release.
