A fine Swiss 18K yellow gold minute repeater, half-hunting cased keyless pocket watch. The case with London hallmarks for 1886. Made for the Indian market. Polished, sprung front cover with central glazed aperture and blue champlevé enamel radial Roman chapter ring. Hinged gold cuvette.

White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel double Spade hands. Frosted gilt movement, three-quarter plate, 15 jewels, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Movement signed.
