Platinum dress watch with register and Patek Philippe box

A very fine and extremely rare Swiss, minute-repeating, platinum dress watch with split-seconds chronograph, register and a Patek Philippe box, circa 1927. Sold on February 12th, 1943. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. A platinum case, the back cover engraved F. A. Slack, Harrisburg, Penna, bolt at 11 to lock the chronograph.

Brushed silver dial with applied platinum Breguet numerals, outer minute track and concentric fifths of a second division, Arabic five minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds, 30-minute register. White gold Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 40 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed.
