A Swiss, open faced, keyless, gentleman’s Geneva pocket watch, circa 1910. Delivered to E. A. Whipple & Sons, Springfield, Mass. – with original box.
18 Carat gold, polished case with engraved monogram and gold dome. Signed enamel dial, off-white, with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and blued Breguet hands. Bridge movement, frosted and gilt, with 8 adj., 20 jewels, Pat. Jan. 13, 1891, wolfteeth winding wheels, gold screw compensation balance, index spring fine adjusting device and counterpoised lever.
