A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced pocket watch, circa 1910. Retailed by Shreve & Co in San Francisco, U.S.A. The movement with a lever escapement. The cuvette is inscribed October 28, 1915 From Father. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued heavy moon hands. A plain case. Dial signed by the retailer, cuvette numbered and signed by the watchmaker, case punched PPC for Patek Philippe and numbered, movement numbered.
