A fine 18 Carat yellow gold open faced keyless winding pocket watch with power reserve, circa 1919. Made for Oemisch Co., Rochester, N.Y. (U.S.A.).
Gilded brass movement, going barrel, train of gold wheels, straight line equilibrated lever escapement, compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with a terminal curve, index regulator with swan neck spring and micrometric screw, eight adjustments. Enamel dial with suspended Breguet style radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, blued steel Spade hands and one horological complication: 32 hour power reserve indication (sector at 12 o’clock). Round shaped 18 Carat yellow gold, case back polished.
Dial, case and movement signed.
