A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch with chain made by Vacheron & Constantin in Geneva, circa 1965. This watch has a mechanical crown winding movement with a lever escapement, calibre 439/8C, signed Vacheron & Constantin. The sunburst silvered dial has applied gold baton hour markers, fine outer minute dots, a crosshair seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and sleek gold baton hands, signed Vacheron & Constantin. The timepiece is housed in a smooth, round, 18 carat solid yellow gold open faced case with a plain, polished reverse back cover, a fluted winding crown, an angular geometric suspension bow, and a gold cuvette. The watch comes with a gold chain.
